NT B2.9 General requirements

(1)

The design, construction, installation, replacement, repair, alteration and maintenance of a heated water service must be in accordance with AS/NZS 3500.4 with the following concession to clause 5.9.4(a) for existing dwellings

(a)

Where a replacement solar water heater is being fitted and the cold water isolating valve is already fitted on the roof to service the original water heater, this valve can form part of the new solar water heater installation and remain on the roof without being re-located as per clause 5.9.4(a).

Part B4 Fire-fighting water services

Part B4 does not apply in the Northern Territory.
